Creekside Home with Pavilion and Conservatory Lake Forest Park

Angled new home capitalizes on creekside location [more]

The first phase of developing this lot was the design of a new home that followed the shape of the creek behind it. Features include: a separate sleeping wing only one step up from the main floor; three car garage with enclosed breezeway to the house; heated concrete floors; open floor plan; cost effective details; and a covered deck facing the creek.

The second phase was to add a large outdoor dining pavilion and the third phase to have a light-filled conservatory rise from the remains of a small, derelict, flat-roofed shed.

Zoning and shoreline restrictions made these projects challenging but both were approved by way of responsive design and negotiating with the City.
